RETURN OF THE WACK!
Yes, it's true - those gullible fucks at The Old Kings Head, Holloway, have agreed to host the Slagfight
While we loved the shithole that is The Gaslight, The Old Kings Head is a really nice pub, with great decor, and is rapidly becoming the areas best music venue, so, y'know, we're pretty fuckn pleased...

With our new night come a number of changes:

First up, we move to Thursday nights from 10.30pm, going on until you lot stop drinking! THAT'S RIGHT! This place has an all night license, so as long as you fucks keep downing the piss, we get to keep playing you tunes!

Secondly, every week we will be preceeded by live bands - check the bulletins for details as they come in! Slagfight DJs will be DJing between the bands whenever possible, commencing this week with the inimitable Space Chickens. I'd say that they are truly out of this world, but if I did I'd just sound like some kind of fucking cunt. So I won't.

Lastly, the not so good news, there is now a charge on the door - sorry about that, but we gotta pay the barstaff for working into the wee hours of the morning! It's £3 entry, which is fuck all really, and if you want to check out the bands beforehand, it'll be around £4/5, which of course allows you to stay on for the Slagfight afterwards. Which ain't too bad now is it?

We haven't got any drinks deals sorted yet, but prices are reasonable (Under £3 a pint) and if we do well, we will be negotiating to get you suckers some special offers to reward your loyalty and insobriety!

SLAGFIGHT RELAUNCH NIGHT 21^ST JUNE 2007
DJ's Krapy and Cython will be joined by the antedeluvian DJ Gummi Bear and his box of metal, adding a hard as fuck edge to the proceedings - this guy has some great tracks in his collection, and is WELL worth checking out! He shall be returning for future nights when we can get him, so be sure to keep your eyes open!

You've probably noticed the new illustrations too - courtesy of the amazing NZ artist Bad Taste Betsy, who lists her interests as "Zombies. drawing hot dead chicks, comics, cannibalism, meat hooks, serial killers, Marty Emond, geeks.", we are pleased as fuck to be able to use her work, and thank her mightily for the opportunity.
